Since 2018, we've embarked on nationwide health initiatives focusing on exercise and healthy eating. Over five years, we've consistently innovated, crafting engaging activities that have attracted enthusiastic participation and fostered healthy habits among our employees.

Post-Pandemic Era: A Focus on Mental Well-being

Amidst the pandemic and a complex economic landscape, people have been exposed to prolonged uncertainty, leading to rising mental health issues like anxiety and depression. Prolonged stress and uncertainty can weaken psychological resilience, fostering negative emotions.

Recognizing this issue, Kingdom Healthcare shifted its focus to employee mental and emotional well-being in 2023. We launched a series of stress-relieving and positivity-sharing activities, including mindfulness meditation, happiness challenge shares, gratitude and luck shares, to cultivate positive mindsets, transmit positive energy among colleagues, and foster a warm atmosphere.

Seven consecutive years of innovative and groundbreaking health activities have yielded remarkable results for our employees' physical and mental health. For instance, the proportion of overweight individuals has decreased by 9%, fatty liver cases by 4%, and HP positivity by 11%. Similarly, metrics like anxiety, depression, sleep quality, and stress levels have all shown varying degrees of improvement upon emotional assessments.

Since 2016, Mercer (one of the world's largest human resources consulting firms) has pioneered the Healthiest Workplace program in China, recognizing employers that excel in workplace health. Over its 10-year, five-edition history, the program has garnered widespread attention, credibility, and influence in China's employer branding landscape. It integrates research on companies' health management systems and employees' individual health risks, recognizing those that foster comprehensive, exceptional health environments and well-being benefits for their workforce.

For the 2024-2025 edition, 330 enterprises from diverse industries across China participated, including Coca-Cola, Shanghai Disneyland, Tesla, Yili, CICC, Lenovo Group, CSPC Pharmaceutical Group, Sanofi, Flextronics China, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, Universal Beijing Resort, and Parexel International.
