Long Time No See, Good Old Friends!
2024-02-05

Three years may be only a brief moment in the long river of history, but for many people, it is a long period of waiting and expectation. Because of the COVID-19, we could not visit the elders who had given us countless moments of warmth and wisdom by going to the nursing home personally over the past three years.

When Mr. William Deng and Mr. Jinming Deng led us to this familiar place again today, our hearts were filled with excitement and emotions beyond words. As we walked into the gate of the nursing home, the familiar and friendly scene came into view. Sitting or standing in the yard, the elderly bathed in the sun leisurely, enjoying the peace and harmony. They all wore a smile on their face, the kind of smile I used to know. Not seeing them for three years, we noticed that many had become older, but their kindness and warmth remained unchanged.

We hugged and shook hands. The epidemic kept us apart for three years, but the gathering at this moment seemed to have made up for all the regrets. We sat around and shared what happened to us over the last three years. They told fun stories in the yard, interactions between neighbors, and simple but warm days. We shared the changes outside the yard, our work experience, and our vision and expectations for the future.

The founders of Kingdom Healthcare, Mr. William Deng and Mr. Jinming Deng, have been visiting the elderly in the nursing home for more than 20 years. For over 20 years, they not only showed their care and warmth to the elderly, but also became the friends of the elderly. In their companionship, the elderly felt the warmth and love of family.

Looking at the intimate interactions between Mr. William Deng and Mr. Jinming Deng and the old people, we can't help but recall a sentence reading that "Friendship does not need gorgeous words, but sincere companionship."

They tell us with practical actions that caring for and accompanying the elderly are the responsibilities and obligations of each of us. Let us take Mr. William Deng and Mr. Jinming Deng as role models to be there for the elderly with sincerity and care, so that they can feel the warmth and happiness of home.

Each time Mr. William Deng and Mr. Jinming Deng visit the nursing home, they bring gifts to With Care. They do finger dances with the good old friends and sing revolutionary songs together. In their company, these good old friends seem to regain the happiness and vitality of their youth.

"Thanks" is one of the most frequently heard words from these good old friends. Every time I hear these words, I feel warmth deep in my heart. I know that this is their gratitude to Mr. William Deng and Mr. Jinming Deng, and also the recognition and encouragement for all of us.

These moments make me realize how precious the emotional bond between people is. Certainly, we have also prepared big red envelopes and small gifts for our old friends. These are not only material gifts, but also a token of appreciation for their years of companionship and love.

Kingdom Healthcare, an enterprise taking "Mutual Prosperity" as its core value, always insists on actively fulfilling corporate social responsibility while creating wealth. This is not just a slogan, but a code of conduct for us every single day. We believe that true prosperity is not only material abundance, but also spiritual abundance.

"May every old person be well treated!”This is our constant wish. Everyone will get old one day and we believe that treating the elderly well is to treat our future selves well. In this big family full of love and care, let us work together to create a better future!

Goodbye, good old friends. We will see you soon.
